I recently purchased an STWC050LT-01 and I’m pretty sure by default this is set up to communicate with RS-232. I could not directly connect my Arduino directly from the TX pin to the DI pin and get my Arduino to send any simple commands like just setting the text of a label so I am assuming it is listening for an RS-232 connection and the Arduino is putting out TTL. I see in the data sheet it talks about jumping something to force it into TTL but I’ll be damned if I can find anything on my board that resembles that area where the picture shows it should be. If anyone can help so I can set this to TTL and direct connect it to my Arduino without having to add a max232 to my project I would appreciate it.

      regards

      David

        Dear Samuel

I am Zhang Su the international sales manager of STONE and you question has been well noted.

You need to weld the above marked R601 resistance in order to shift the UART interface of your display from RS232 to TLL in order to communicate with your Arduino.

In addtion, I have sent email to you but it has been rejected by your email proxy.  Could you please offer your whatsapp number so that would be helpful for having more efficent communication in future.

        Best regards

        Zhang Su
