      Hi STONE,

I need help. I’m going to draw a basic XY graph for the attached data. It’s not a real-time time graph, and the X-axis is not time.

      Thank you very much

      Hi ikarcuaso:

In this case, I think you need to use the “real-time curve” function.

In our Toolbox software, this functionality is not only used for time-sensitive situations.

Real-time means that the curve can be updated at any time through the input of data. Once you need to draw a curve in coordinates, you should use this function.

I hope I can help you.

      bancroft,

      Thank you for your reply.

No instructions for X data input and Y data input are seen in the real-time graph.

How do you enter X and Y data into a real-time graph?

If sending a graphics command will result in what shape of the image, can I read the full command set?

      Hello ikarcuaso

The real-time curve displays a y value instead of an X value.

      In your example:

The smallest unit in the X direction is 0.1.That means you need to create a coordinate with X units of 0, 1.

In our software, you can set the horizontal interval to the minimum distance between X units, from 1 to 255(pixels).

This means that you can enter and display a Y value between each X pixel. This curve is constant, you need to input every Y value for this curve, and then you get the complete curve in coordinates.

This is a basic concept. So, if you can follow the instructions and get a curve showing the demo, it will be easier to operate.

      bancroft, Thank you very much

It would be helpful if your application engineer could send you at least three sets of XY data with some Settings or screenshots of the protocol format of the commands and data, which we will set to REST

We still don’t know if your SW real-time curve function should be used, or if the basic graph function should be used for our XY graph

Please help us solve this critical problem. Thank you very much.

For our tabular data, please confirm as follows

      1) Should we use live graphics or basic graphics commands?

      2) Please explain in this chart where the provisions for X data input and Y data input are?

      3) Which part of memory should we load XY data, and how to display a pointer to XY data in memory

Your sample data and proper setup/protocol hexadecimal command format alone will enable us to understand this Grapgh capability

Use some screenshots instead of English words.

I’m trying to make a demo for you.But this takes time because your data is not easy to enter manually.

At the same time, I think your engineers still don’t understand the basic functions of real-time curves properly. On my side, the real-time curve is a good way to do what you do.

I’ll send you the demo when I’m done

The points mentioned above are exactly what our engineers have expressed after cooperating with your SW.

In the live graph, show where the X data is entered so that we can enter our own X data at that location

We found that it was possible to enter Y data in real-time graphics

If you can make this point clear to me, we can solve the problems.

      Hi  ikarcuaso

      Here’s the demo,

Real-time time graph on STONE TOOLBOX

The X value will be the data input, which is the normal variable value.

You could say 222.0 is 0 on the X-axis. Once the data source starts entering data (Y values), the curve starts here.

The values of X are entered into variable memory addresses as Settings.

      Hi bancroft

Thank you very much for your presentation,

Consider the graphical application described below

      1) The starting and ending values of the X and Y axes in Figure X and Y should be dynamic according to the available X and Y data. The program time is not fixed and changes at run time

      2) The X value can be arbitrarily valued within the range of 19nm-1100nm. The user can start and stop the X value at will and only draw the graph of the user’s scanning range during scanning

      3) For example, the user can start at 600nm and end at 780 nm…In one case

      4) In the other case, the user can start at 520 nm and stop at 660 nm.Etc.

      5) Similarly, the Y value of Abs can vary in running time. For example, in one case, it could be 0.012 to 0.628 Abs…

      6) Next time it might be Y value 1.239 to 1.678 Abs…Etc.

So instead of having a full-range front screen as a fixed background screen at once, we need to draw according to the available XY scan data

Hope you can understand and guide how to handle this situation with your SW in real-time charts

      1. In the demo, the X-axis value I sent you was not pre-set or fixed. You can enter any value you want. And the same is true for Y.I didn’t set it up in the demo, but the basic method is the same.

      2. You can also use the description pointer function to change the Y range, X unit range, or all other value Settings

Real-time time graph on STONE TOOLBOX-4

To learn how to use the description pointer, see Chapter 6 in the development guide.

      3. Therefore, all you need to do is program the controller and send the values to the X value, the Y value, the curve buffer, and the address describing the pointer to tell the display when to change the X/Y range and what to display on the coordinates. No matter how your X/Y axis changes, just send the command.

That’s all we can do. Real-time curve functions don’t just give you coordinates, input values, and display curves. You need to send commands to define what the curve is, what the X value is, what the Y value is.

      I hope this helps.

Basic attributes such as color do not change when the description pointer is used with the 4000 address data variable

But the 0x82 write and 0x83 read were successful.

Can you send a video describing how a pointer changes an object’s properties

It seems that the description pointer feature cannot be simulated on your PC tool SW
Could you please explain the meaning of the attached contents…”Tools SW Manual”

The description pointer function cannot pass the simulator test and must be tested on the actual display.

      This is the original curve

The description pointer is set to 4000.

According to the manual, the color of 07 needs to be changed, so write the value into 4007 and change the color to red
