    I installed Stone Designer Version 0.1.2-220110 and found that half of the features didn’t work:
    – more than half of the widgets do not work (they cannot be dragged and they display an empty tooltip);
    – it is impossible to select several widgets;
    – do not work alignment operations and moving the widget to a layer above or below;
    – debugging does not work;
    – the list of resources does not work well;
    – drop-down menu items from the resource list or toolbox that fall on the designer’s workspace cannot be activated;
    In general, the impression of the program is that it is very, very crude and completely unusable.
    Now I am choosing a 10″ display to control some industrial system and I initially liked the characteristics of the Stone displays – large supply voltage range, RS-485 communication capability, wide temperature range, powerful processor. But comparing Stone and Nextion design programs, I definitely lean towards the latter.
    Tell me, am I not understanding something and doing it wrong, or is the Stone Designer program really so raw?

      Thank you very much, I got the new version and it works much better. Having a working application, I can already order a display for evaluation and testing. But the simulation still does not work, although in the videos I saw how the simulation was started 🙂
      P.S. Is it possible to order an industrial version of a 10-inch display with an RS-485 interface in your official store on Aliexpress? I couldn’t find such a position there.

    Hi, I recently purchased a TFT 7 inch display (model STWI070WT-01) from Amazon. In the package there was a pen driver with STONE GUI DESIGNER release 0.1.2. This software is not completely working. Some menus don’t open or don’t are working. As confirmed in some posts of this discussion, ther is a new version of this software. Can you send me a copy?       I still haven’t received any E-Mail yet, though I’ve got a version 1.1.8 from the support contact of a colleague. But there’s no working video functionality or simulation working. I think I’ve seen someone on this forum with a working simulation feature at least. Is there a newer version then 1.1.8? So far it feels like this version is the same as 0.1.2.

    Wouldn’t be better create a list where users subscribe once and receive updates automatically rather than beg every time for buggish software that keeps us waste so much time in crashes and greyed_out-unsupported_yet features????

    If STONE is afraid of being copied ask every user ONCE for the serial number and then release automatically the updates…

    That is incredible…

    May I also PLEASE have the updated version of the software. It’s been a couple of months that I am asking. Please check the forum. I have 4 STONE devices (2 10inch and 2 3,4inch) and I am STUCK with the programming.

    BTW: I understand the software is not finalized and you don’t publish it, but would not be a good idea to create a private registered list of users that receives automatically the updates rather than begging every time as I do???

    Are you afraid of copying or other theft? We can provide the serial number of the hardware so you can verify we are eligible but. PLEASE stop with this unproductive method. I am wasting a lot of time waiting updates, for crashing software and again waiting for your link.

    I think honestly after buying the hardware ( I have done it four times) we deserve a better treatment….

    We purchased several of the TFT 7 inch Stone HMI displays (model# STWI070WT-01).  After successfully completing the design project, we noticed some of the HMI screens are freezing up. This may be due to an old version of the HMI Firmware. Can we please get the latest version of the HMI Screen Firmware and also the newest version of the Stone GUI design software.

    Latest version 2.0.56 of stone designer is missing some important features.

    – Download does not work.

    – Title is Desgigner instead of Designer

    – Saving the project and opening it with previous working version scrambles the gui.

     

    Please STONE stop sending crappy unfinished and not debugged software people are relying on for their production work.

    I am writing to request assistance with my TFT LCD model STWC101WT-01. Unfortunately, I have lost the Tool2019 software that I previously used to make necessary adjustments and changes to the LCD. Without this software, I am unable to perform any modifications or updates.

    I have the YTV1070WT-01, purchased from Amazon.com in late 2022. The Stone Designer software it shipped with has numerous items that don’t function. I attempted a search for update and that did nothing. I tried getting the version from the Help menu and that also did nothing. Do you have a newer software package available? I am trying to learn this display so that I can use it in a monitor and control project. Many thanks in advance.
