    To do H7 communicate with Stone display you need only four pins:

    +5V, GND, TX (pinJ1-33), RX (pin J1-35) but you cannot connect H7 directly to Stone display. H7 generates TTL signals, display uses RS232 signal. So there’s need of a RS232 to TTL converter. You can use this connections :

    terminals R1 IN (13), R1 OUT (12), T1 IN (11), T1 OUT (14) represent relative pins of MAX232 chip (see data sheet). Formly two channel of MAX 232 are used: channel R1 (sends D0 to RX ), channel T1 (sends TX to DI).

    MAX 232 chip translates TTL to RS232 and viceversa.

    It is desirable to use an external power supply to avoid overload of H7 supply.

    I need to use the Stone USB converter to connect a Arduino Portenta H7 to a Stone display 5v . Can you give me a schematic to do it ? Thanks
