I’m trying to set images and texts and detect which buttons was clicked on my display with an Arduino leonardo, but sending and receiving data don’t seems to work, I don’t know why which is why I’m seeking for any helps
For details, I set the baudrate to 115200 in the STONE Design
I connected the TX, RX of the Arduino to the V1.2 adapter board and the ground of the Arduino to the one on the female USB, as it is shown in the attached files, but I’m not very sure about it.
With the SSCOM3.2 software I am able to set images and texts and receive instruction from the display.
I followed this tutorial : https://www.stoneitech.com/arduino-tutorial-stone-stwi101wt-01-hmi-display-and-arduino/
Should I use a MAX3232 module instead of the V1.2 adapter board ?
Also to send instruction with the Arduino, it is the function Serial.println() needed ?
Thanks for any helps

You must be logged in to view attached files. The LCD cannot communicate with arduino because the level is not the same. The level of arduino is usually TTL, while the level of the LCD you are using is RS232.
Please solder the R601 resistor as shown below so that the level will be changed from RS232 to TTL.

Then please check the connection as shown in the figure below.
Hello Fiona Liu,
I am now in the same situation as Anthoh and wanted to ask again in detail if it is really enough to close the solder bridge R601? That´s all?
Unfortunately I can’t see the old pictures from the previous post before.I have found the following information [Serial_Port_Defind_STONE.PNG] in the documentation for my display, but I can’t find this area on my board. This makes me very unsure. Do I have an older model or why does the information in the documentation not match my photo?
So in short it means for my display “STWI070WT-01”:
R601 open = RS232 ?
R601 closed = TTL ?I really just want to make sure that I don’t destroy my display…
Thank you very much for your support.
