Hi, I got the instructions.  It does not seem to work.  If I only put the logo folder in the STONE folder it says “File does not exist” If I include the project file it updated the project but not the logo.

Is it possible that the version I have does not support this function.  sys_version returns V2.1.02.211221RC

Hello everyone,

I am currently facing a persistent issue with my STONE displays (models STWI070WT-01 and STWI080WT-01) regarding the boot logo. Despite following the manufacturer’s suggested procedure, the default “STONE” logo remains unchanged.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

1. I accessed the internal memory of the display via USB, treating it as an external disk.
2. I created a directory in the root called “STONE”, and within that, a subdirectory called “logo”, where I placed a 32-bit BMP image named “logo.bmp”. The path looks like this: /STONE/logo/logo.bmp.
3. I’ve attempted reboots and also used the reset button on the back of the display.

Despite these steps, the default “STONE” logo continues to appear on boot-up. I even tried using a simple monochrome image to replace the logo with a black screen, but without success.

I suspect there might be some firmware restrictions or specific settings that are not documented. Has anyone here encountered a similar issue? If so, how did you manage to resolve it? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, especially if there’s a particular image format or setting that works.

Hello! Thank you for your detailed description!
Your operation is not a problem, but please note that the logo image needs to meet the 8-bit or 24-bit bmp format image, your 32-bit image is not supported by the update.
You just need to modify the image and update it again, please try it, thanks!
