Hello, thank you very much for your message, we probably understand part of your needs。
Regarding the left/right movement, if you are referring to the coordinates of the control, then you can use the set_x/y directive to set them after getting the return value of the pair by setting the relevant return value of the button.
But taking into account that there may be part of our understanding of the problem of bias, can you combine some of the illustrations to give us more detailed information so that we can more clearly explain your needs, (only need a simple approximate style + part of the key to the description can be). Thank you for your cooperation and look forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,

      Hi,

Thanks for your reply, sorry about the time delay! I did not get a notification of your response.

The main question is can we have some mechanism to run “scripts” on the screen processor, this does not need to be a complicated script processing, just normal commands as if they had arrived from the host on the serial port. So, for example, if a user presses a button it normally sends a command to the host to notify this, instead of this we would need to say “don’t send command to host, run the commands in a file, perhaps with parameter values from a select set of widgets”. We could put up a dialog box with choices and have an OK button, the OK button would send the parameter value of the choice and have this be available in the script.

The details of the command don’t matter now, but this mechanism could be used for many things.

For example a dialog box with a slider to set the screen brightness, this could be done simply without the host if such a mechanism existed.

      Best regards,

      Liam.
