Hi Stef:

Thanks for choosing the STONE product. We have some model available directly working with TTL level. You can check the backside PCB of the display, and see if you can find J17 jumper.

If you order the display on Amazon/eBay, normally it is set as the RS232 level. You can change it to TTL level by short connect the jumper.

 

If you are not sure what to do, please share a picture of the PCB of the display so I can help you.

Please change the UART type of HMI directly. You can use 0 resistor （Without power supply）

Please check the attached image for connection. But before connect the HMI with Arduino, you need to make sure your HMI is TTL. Please disconnect the RS232 resistors and soldering the TTL resistors as below:

Hi,

I’m new to forum, need help with similar issue, I connected my arduino atmega 2560 but not sending data.  About the resistors, what value are they ? Can I remove the four resistors and use two of them to short for TTL?

I purchased the unit on Amazon STWC50WT-01
