In the worst case if I have to convert to RS485 myself (although specs for the board say it can do 485 itself – I read this before buying it), how can I change this to TTL level so I can use a 232TTL to 485 chip?
The spec sheet shows this below, but i can see no such pattern on the board?, do I have to remove to the screen to change, are these selectors under the screen? or is this spec sheet wrong or for an older version of the board?
Any help would be appreciated, I like this board and screen, looks ideal for what I want to code into it, but I need RS485(Ideally with out having to make an adapter board) to talk to the other devices it will control.
