Oh! I see! Ok thank you for taking the time to explain this to me, I am a little unfamiliar with these things. The screen was able to receive data from the computer terminal but I’m not sure if anything was sent back to the computer.
Also, would connecting the screen to the Arduino be something similar? How would I ensure that the Arduino is connected to the RS232 as well with the device? Is there a more detailed tutorial on how to connect the Arduino and the industrial screen together? I attempted the tutorial “Arduino Tutorial for Beginners LY-F2 of Seven Star Bug +STONE Serial Screen” but the connection they used didn’t seem to work.
