Hmm, version 1.0.0 has some minor flaws, but they are not critical. I also create a project for industrial equipment and have been working with this version of Stone Designer for about two weeks now and so far everything is working without serious difficulties. Yes, there is some lack of information in the descriptions of widgets, but for the most part everything is clear enough, and what is incomprehensible is quite easily determined empirically 🙂 Yes, emulation does not work yet and this is bad, but in principle you can do without it by loading the project directly to the display. So far, I have been able to develop the project without much difficulty.
I also tried Nextion displays, their software, of course, is better developed, and there are also quite advanced scenarios that the display can perform on its own without an external MCU, but they are rather household and poorly suited for industrial solutions – in terms of temperature range, in terms of nutrition , by interface. And in terms of power, they are inferior to the Stone. For example, animation, which is played at a maximum frequency of 4-5 frames per second on Nextion, is easily played on Stone at 20 frames per second.

What exactly doesn’t work for you?
