I installed Stone Designer Version 0.1.2-220110 and found that half of the features didn’t work:
– more than half of the widgets do not work (they cannot be dragged and they display an empty tooltip);
– it is impossible to select several widgets;
– do not work alignment operations and moving the widget to a layer above or below;
– debugging does not work;
– the list of resources does not work well;
– drop-down menu items from the resource list or toolbox that fall on the designer’s workspace cannot be activated;
In general, the impression of the program is that it is very, very crude and completely unusable.
Now I am choosing a 10″ display to control some industrial system and I initially liked the characteristics of the Stone displays – large supply voltage range, RS-485 communication capability, wide temperature range, powerful processor. But comparing Stone and Nextion design programs, I definitely lean towards the latter.
Tell me, am I not understanding something and doing it wrong, or is the Stone Designer program really so raw?
