Do I need to reword this?  Is it not clear?

The directions, that came with the board, for the LED strip Demo say to connect a 12V 2A power supply to the included Demo MCU Board.  Then connect the Demo MCU board to the included LED light strip and to use the included 8 pin cable to connect the Demo MCU board to the Stone display.  The display this all came with is STWC070LT-01, which is a 5V only board.

If I follow the included directions, using the included components, will it harm the display?

I also bought a 050 of the same type.

An expedited answer is greatly appreciated.  This should be important, because if I am correct, you are sending out displays, etc, that if someone follows the directions might fry the display.

If any more information is needed, including pictures, etc. Please advise and I will get them posted immediately.

    Hello Mr.Daren Bieniek,

The STWC070LT-01 and STWC050LT-01 you purchased are both low voltage powered products and can only use 5V power.

Our manual is using the I series as an example.

Please don’t use 12V power supply, it will burn the screen directly.

You can use 5v power supply and there will be no problem.

And for more detailed information our technical staff has replied to your email please check.
